Configuring Microsoft Outlook

The following steps were created using Microsoft Outlook 2002 SR-1 Corporate/Workgroup Edition.
To learn what version of Outlook you have, from the Help menu, click About Microsoft Outlook.

Note:
If a parent already uses this email program on the same computer, please begin by first creating a new "identity" for each child.

1 From the Tools menu, click E-mail Accounts.
2 Select "Add a new e-mail account " and click Next.
3 Select POP3 for and click Next.

Enter the Your Name (e.g., Your full name), E-mail address (e.g., yourname@kidmail.net), incoming mail server (POP3)
(e.g., pop.kidmail.net), Outgoing mail server (SMTP) (e.g., smtp.kidmail.net), User Name (e.g., yourname) and password.
After entering this information click "More settings".
5 Click the Advanced tab and enter the Outgoing Server Port number to 26.
Click OK .
6 Click Ok
